Together, we can take proven steps to advance the Gospel.
A healthy future for the church depends on who is being raised up today. Jesus invested deeply in leaders, knowing they were key to the success of his Great Commission. And the most successful movement in church history—the Wesleyan revival of 18th century England—gives a proven model for forming such leaders today.
Since our founding in 1990, our passion is to spread Wesley's proven tools across the Spanish-speaking world. With our help, pastors are growing as effective leaders whose churches are making disciples and impacting their communities.
The Enduring Wesleyan
Revival Movement
The Wesleyan Revival began with a small group hungry for what they called “Scriptural Christianity.” The Wesley brothers developed methods based on Scripture and reliant on the Holy Spirit to walk with God and gain freedom from sin in their lives. The movement steadily grew and sparked a revival that spread across England and beyond, influencing countless individuals and communities with their message of hope and salvation. Today, over 150 million Christians can trace their spiritual heritage back to the Wesleyan Revival.

Our Executive Director
Will Faircloth
Two decades ago, Will and his family moved to Central America with a calling to form leaders and support churches to spread the Gospel. Today, God is using his knack for meeting and equipping people where they serve to direct projects that implement Wesley's revival tools throughout the Spanish-speaking world. His journey in ministry began in Costa Rica, where as a young seminary professor he helped train leaders at the Evangelical Methodist Seminary, both in rural centers and at the main campus. Over the years, he began collaborating with pastors and church leaders across various countries, allowing him to learn more about their challenges and needs. These experiences strengthened his sense of calling to empower individuals who are passionate about the kingdom of God, through education that is accessible and relevant to their specific contexts. Will's dedication is shared by his wife, Ella, and their three children, who together served with the Methodist Church of Costa Rica for sixteen years. During this time, they immersed themselves in the local culture, building meaningful relationships and contributing to the spiritual and communal life of the church. In 2021, the Faircloth family returned to the United States, where Will continues to champion Spanish-language ministry through his role as the director of the Wesley Heritage Foundation. In this capacity, he provides essential financial and strategic support to various ministry initiatives, ensuring that resources are available to sustain and grow these vital programs. Furthermore, Will directs Wesley Hoy, a dynamic resource platform dedicated to bringing the rich lessons of the Wesleyan movement to church leaders across the Americas. He also heads the Instituto de Estudios Wesleyanos, offering leaders valuable resources, training, and support, while helping to cultivate a deeper understanding and appreciation of Wesleyan principles.

We'll lead by example.
We seek revival in our own lives, marriages, families, and beyond.

Our Translation Team
Oscar Aguilar
Oscar was born in San José, the capital of Costa Rica, in 1959. His family were second-generation Methodists, and his earliest childhood memories are related to church, particularly Sunday school. "I can remember the time I had to recite Psalm 23 in front of the congregation one Sunday morning after my class. I was about 6 years old." It was not surprising that he became increasingly involved in local church activities, especially when, in his youth, Oscar discovered his passion for music and playing the guitar. He formed several youth music groups within the Evangelical Methodist Church of Costa Rica (IEMCR). After finishing high school, he attended the University of Costa Rica (UCR), where he studied Computer Science. At the end of his fourth year at UCR, God called him to ministry service, so in 1982 he began studies at the Nazarene Seminary of the Americas in San José, where he obtained his Baccalaureate and Bachelor's Degree in Theology. In 1986 he was appointed Pastor of a local Methodist church in San José. Later, in 1991, at the Nazarene University he obtained his Master's Degree in Bible-Theology. That same year, he was ordained an elder of the IEMCR. After completing his master's studies, Oscar was appointed full-time professor at the newly-founded Methodist Seminary of Costa Rica, to teach several courses, including: Church History, Homiletics and Systematic Theology. After all these years, the course on Systematic Theology has become his specialty for teaching at the Seminary. In 1993, together with his wife Laura and daughter Raquel, they moved to Wilmore, Kentucky, where Oscar completed his Doctorate of Ministry degree. During their years at Wilmore, the Aguilar family welcomed the arrival of their new son, Joel. In 1997 they returned to Costa Rica, and Oscar returned to teaching at the Methodist Seminary of Costa Rica. Due to his long teaching career, Oscar has had the privilege of having most of the current IEMCR pastors in his class at some point. During his professional life as a theology professor, Oscar has been been a guest lecturer at the Juan Wesley Seminary in Monterrey, Mexico; at the Maya Methodist Institute in Guatemala; at the Evangelical Seminary of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic; at the Wesleyan Seminary of Barquisimeto, Venezuela; and at Asbury Theological Seminary's Orlando-Dunnam Campus. Currently, Oscar Aguilar is the President of the Methodist University of Costa Rica, an institution offering bachelor's and master's degrees. In recent years, with the incorporation of the Wesley Heritage Foundation/Institute of Wesleyan Studies, Oscar has developed an important ministry of translating practical Wesleyan books into Spanish. One of his greatest privileges has been to translate some of John Wesley's sermons that had never before appeared in Spanish. Additionally, some of his translated books for WHF/IEW are: Wesley for Armchair Theologians, Models of Evangelism, Marks of a Movement, Mothers in Israel, and several others.
Our Development Team
Kyle Frohock
Every healthy organization needs someone nurturing its stakeholders and processes. Kyle’s extensive experience uniting people in the message and cause of Jesus ensures WHF functions with our values, relationships and commitments central to who we are. Kyle Frohock fell in love with the church and the good news of Jesus as a teenager. For the past 20 years, he and his wife, Tess, have dedicated their lives to ministry, beginning with sports outreach and mentoring urban youth in Nashville, Tennessee. Their efforts soon expanded to include after-school support and directing affordable housing initiatives, regularly connecting them with diverse families facing significant challenges. These experiences reinforced Kyle's passion for uniting people through the message of Jesus. His calling deepened through pastoring churches during and after seminary, living in Latin America to teach and mentor youth, and directing a multicultural summer camp for campers from over 90 countries. Kyle now directs development for the Wesley Heritage Foundation, nurturing ministry partnerships to equip church leaders throughout the Spanish-speaking world. He is also pursuing a PhD in mission studies from Fuller Theological Seminary, further preparing him to serve the church and God's global mission. Kyle and Tess live in Nashville with their four children, continuing their commitment to faith and community.
